Private Lessons
Private lessons provide individualized instruction that will enhance a students skill, motivation, and musicianship.
Students will learn on a one-on-one basis providing instant feedback for their specific needs. Students will learn how to practice effectively and efficiently. Students will gain a strong foundation for their instrument as well as the knowledge that will allow them to be a successful musician. Students will grow by taking ownership of their education through self-discipline, time management, goal-setting, decision-making, and other skills that will transfer to real world experiences.

A top prize winner in the San Diego Flute Guild Artist Gold Competition, she performs with the Lone Star Wind Orchestra and has also performed with Seven Degrees Flute Quartet and Metroplex Flutes. She teaches privately in Frisco, TX and serves as Past President of the Texas Flute Society. Her teachers include Rebecca Gilbert, Christina Jennings, Nancy Andrew, and Dr. Wendy Mehne.

Ben Fairfield is the Principal Trumpet of the Abilene Philharmonic, the Co-Principal Trumpet of the West Texas Symphony in Midland, TX, and a member of the West Texas Symphony’s Lone Star Brass Quintet. He is also a member of the Lone Star Wind Orchestra in Dallas, TX. He frequently performs as a guest member of the trumpet section with orchestras throughout the United States including the Fort Worth Symphony Orchestra, New Mexico Philharmonic, Santa Fe Symphony, Boulder Philharmonic, San Juan Symphony, and the San Angelo Symphony. Recent engagements have taken him to New York, NY, Albuquerque, NM, Denver, CO, Miami, FL, Philadelphia, PA, and San Francisco, CA. Prior to his time in Texas, he performed in the orchestras of the Florida Grand Opera and the Miami City Ballet in Miami, FL.
Ben has taught trumpet at Eastern New Mexico University, Auburn University, Barry University, and the University of Miami. He is also a veteran of the United States Army, performing as a member of the United States Continental Army Band at Ft. Monroe, VA.
Ben currently resides in Arlington, TX. He holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from James Madison University and graduate degrees (MM, DMA) in trumpet performance from the University of Miami Frost School of Music. Ross Sanchez is an active trombonist in the DFW area.
Mr. Sanchez currently is a private lessons instructor in Carrollton-Farmers Branch ISD, Frisco ISD, and at St. Mark's School of Texas. Prior to teaching in DFW, Mr. Sanchez taught private lessons in Hays CISD and undergraduate lessons while a graduate student at Texas State University.
Mr. Sanchez has performed frequently with professional orchestras including the Houston Symphony, San Antonio Philharmonic, San Antonio Opera, Jacksonville Symphony, Huntsville Symphony, and Chattanooga Symphony.
He has also been a finalist in several notable trombone competitions including the International Trombone Association's Roberts and Kleinhammer Bass Trombone competitions and the US Army Band's National Solo Competition.
Mr. Sanchez has a Bachelor's degree in Music Performance from Vanderbilt University and a Master's degree from Texas State University. A true Dallas/Fort Worth native, Addison Pellegrino discovered his passion for percussion at just 11 years old. His musical journey began with a love for rhythm, which soon expanded into a diverse array of performance experiences, including concert ensembles, jazz bands, and competitive marching groups. These early encounters with music fueled his decision to pursue a career in music education.
Addison earned his Bachelor of Music Education with a specialization in percussion from Northwestern State University of Louisiana, where he studied under Dr. Oliver Molina and Kenneth Green. His time at NSU allowed him to hone his craft in a variety of premier ensembles, solidifying his skills as both a performer and educator.
With a teaching career spanning schools across Texas and Louisiana, Addison has made a significant impact on many programs big and small. Most recently, as the Director of Percussion Studies at Ranchview High School (2021-2024), he tripled program enrollment, earned top ratings in competitions, and guided numerous students to success in region, area, and state auditions. Prior to this, he led the percussion program at Irving High School (2019-2021).
In addition to his work in the classroom, Addison remains an active performer. He has performed with groups such as the British Brass Band of Louisiana, the Dallas Brass Band, and the South Arkansas Symphony. His marching arts background includes performing with the Louisiana Stars Drum and Bugle Corps (battery) and the Oregon Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps (front ensemble).
Currently, Addison teaches private lessons in the Hebron and Frisco Centennial High School band clusters, while also instructing the Burleson Centennial and Nimitz High School marching percussion sections. He works with students of all levels, guiding them to sharpen their technique, develop their musicality, and reach new heights in their percussion journey.
